| Fertilizer Company of Arizona, Inc., dba Fertizona, is Arizona's largest fertilizer, agricultural chemical, and seed retailer. Jimmy Compton Jr. founded the company in May of 1980 and was later joined by his father Jim, Sr. The Company was established to sell numerous liquid and dry crop nutrients, crop protection chemicals, seed, as well as various other agricultural and industrial products and services.
Fertilizer Company of Arizona, Inc. is headquartered in Casa Grande, Arizona with an additional seven locations in Buckeye, Roll, Sacaton, Thatcher, Waddell, Willcox, and Yuma.
Fertizona's 115 employees include 25 licensed Pest Control Advisors that are committed to serving Arizona's agricultural community. Besides distributing a wide array of agricultural inputs, Fertizona provides the grower with many types of services. These include field checking, water and soil sampling, plant mapping, regulatory record keeping, spray rig calibration, and fertility recommendation. As the market has changed, Fertizona has worked diligently to develop a complete line of high quality products catering to an ever-growing and changing agricultural industry. Through the use of soil, water, and tissue samples, Fertizona can offer agronomical solutions to help customers meet the strict standards of today's water usage restrictions while increasing the quality of crops grown in Arizona.
